What are Bach Flower Remedies?

Dr Edward Bach discovered a simple, gentle healing system in the 1930’s which helps to restore emotional balance and wellbeing.  He believed that mind and body are connected and it is important to treat the person and not the disease using a holistic approach.  Dr Bach believed that a healthy emotional life and balanced personality will allow your body to find its own natural state of health.

“When the soul and personality are in harmony, all is joy and peace, happiness and health”

Dr Edward Bach

There are 38 flower remedies which form this safe and easy system working with your emotions and feelings.  Each remedy is associated with a basic human emotion.  The remedies are in liquid form and they can be mixed together to produce a bespoke remedy tailored especially to you.

The remedies are very safe and gentle.  They can be used alongside any medication you may be already taking and are safe for children, animals and plants.

How we work together

Bach remedies are medicines for the emotions and the aim is to balance the negative state of mind we may have.   Each remedy is aimed at a specific negative emotion, such as fear, lack of confidence, worry.  The remedies work by enhancing our existing positive qualities, which would for example give us courage, increased confidence or quieten the mind.

During a consultation we will explore how you are feeling with the aim of identifying what emotions you are experiencing.  This will help us to choose the most suitable remedies to help restore balance to your life.  Once the remedies are chosen, I will make up the treatment bottle and post out to your home address.  The mixture will last for around 3 weeks.  If you have any queries about the flower remedies or would like to find out more about how they can help you, please get in touch.

All my appointments are held remotely online via Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp phone/video or by telephone.
